On Sunday 2nd October the Roman Roadsters had a trip to the Harwich museum and a great time was had by all. They arrived in convoy after meeting at the Hythe in Colchester and had a leisurely drive to the Museum where they were greeted by our friendly bunch of staff who kindly parked them and then provided tea and coffee which was greatly appreciated. All members had a look round the museum and were amazed by the exhibits and information within.
A Spokesperson from the group quoted the museum layout and shop was superb and we would thoroughly recommend a visit there. The Roman roadsters cars had quite a bit of interest and our members do love to talk about their cars! Some of the cars on display included a pre-production consul Cortina, a Mga, Morris minor and a very nice old Granada.
Hopefully we can make this a yearly event, our thanks goes out to all the staff who made this a special day.
