Welcome toHarwich Museum

Welcome to ‘Memory Lane’

Harwich is a historic and distinctive town steeped in a wealth of history.
Our museum is housed within the former Bernard Uniform offices and was officially opened  on the 21st August 2021. Whether you drop in for half an hour or half a day, there is plenty to explore whatever your age and interests and many of you will be taking a walk down memory lane.
Harwich Museum has no paid employees, every one of our team is a volunteer.  We are always looking for new volunteers to help expand our team and improve the museum. Whether you’d like to volunteer, or know someone who might be interested please contact us.
We thank you for your support and we hope you enjoy your visit.
