It is an engaging story of royal beginnings, storms and shipwrecks, lighthouse keepers (including Grace Darling, of course!) around the coast of England and Wales, and comes right up to date with what Trinity House does today – with reference to state of the art electronic aids for shipping, maritime charity support, and fraternity activities – all either funded by Shipping companies or ourselves, as we are the largest British self-funded maritime charity.
The talk last approx. 30 minutes, and is supported with a Powerpoint picture show also containing a short film, followed by any questions that may arise.
