ONLY TWO PERSONS SAVED. TERRIBLE DISASTER NEAR ROTTERDAM

139 Passengers and Crew Drowned A terrible disaster is reported from Rotterdam.

The “Berlin” left Parkeston Quay, at about 10 p.m. on the 20th February 1907 bound for the New Water Way, Hook of Holland, under the command of Captain Precious with 96 passengers, a crew of 52, all told, very little cargo, and 1.00 tons of coal in the bunkers.
